The device can analyze within from a sample of approximately 5.9 kg in a few seconds the fat content by using X-rays. During analysing time the gamma rays of mineral-rich muscle tissue are largely absorbed. In contrast, mineral-poor fat is very little absorbed. The fat content which is then obtained is displayed digitally. And through the RS-232 output it is redirected to a computer or printer.
After the analysis the sample can simply be added back to the batch. 316-6 The type is also fitted as standard in addition to the fat and protein also the water content to calculate.
